Mena Alexandera is an American actress, model and designer. Her birth date was 13 February 1979. She started her modeling career in 1990 and soon moved into acting, after appearances in television shows such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. Her first film performance in 1997's drama Nowhere. Her performances on American Beauty - for which she was nominated to get a BAFTA Award - and American Pie that earned more attention from the public and recognition, she was able to move into larger roles. The actress has appeared in American Pie's Co-Star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the lead character on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2001). In 2002, she was a part in Spun the drama that was made by an independent studio and 2004's thriller Trauma. In 2004, she appeared in HBO's series Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award for 2005, as part of the Outstanding Ensemble. In 2008, Suvari was a part in a series of movies such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the film adaptation to The Garden of Eden. Suvari has been a model for Lancome Paris Adaptive, and she has also appeared in a variety of blogs and magazines, including Vogue. Suvari has been a defender and advocate for The African Medical and Research Foundation, a prestigious organization that provides aid to Africans. She is also engaged in the issue of women empowerment and is involved with causes that are related to breast cancer as well as the End Violence Against Women campaign. Most famous for her appearances in TV shows such as Dark Angel Heroes The Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper and most well-known of her peers Rookie Blue. The model has worked for major companies such as Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada, and Olympics. Missy's filmography includes the songs Stick It Backcountry Somewhat Red and wide Awake. The talented actress managed to shine in both of the films. Missy's heart is big. When she is not working, she prefers to participate in charitable initiatives. She is part of a group that is non-political and determined to create and distribution of affordable safety footwear throughout South America.
